What is going on Tribe!!! From all of us here at TNT we hope you have the happiest, healthiest, and most awesomely active Christmas and Holidays!
As you can see from our photo - Santa is beat after running around the world all night delivering Barbells and Squat Racks to all the good little fitness guys/gals that stay active and healthy and ate good all year. If that fat man can do it - you bet your ass you can too!
Todays workout has a few Christmas inspired parts to it... First off you are going to buy yourself into the workout with 25 Pullups, Santa had to pull his butt back out of soo many chimneys on his route dropping off gifts, so for DEC 25th we are going to start by rocking out 25 Strict Pull Ups.
Then to mimic all the times old Chris Cringle had to lift up that heavy sack of Kettlebells, Dumbells, and bumper plates we are going to do deadlifts followed by a sprint of double unders to show our appreciation to the big man for just how fast he jumps around the world to deliver our favorite goodies. Don't worry though - just as his night gets easier as he goes the reps go down - but the weight of keeping to his schedule increases - which is exactly what we are going to do with the weights for our deadlifts. Starting at 80% 1RM for 5 reps, we are going to increase for each set of deadlifts as follows:
80% x 5, 82.5% x 4, 85% x 3, 87.5% x 2, 90% x 1rep.
Finally because Mr Clause is soo ecstatic that he just crushed another Christmas delivery - he celebrates with Burpees - which is exactly how we are going to cash out on this festive fitness workout. 25 Burpees to finish off the WOD, so you can go relax, be merry, and consume far to many festive spirits and delicious treats!
