Todays workout is a wonderfully brutal cardio conditioning workout. Don’t get too discouraged though, as this one left the TNT tribe feeling absolutely renewed after it was all said and done, and the dust settled and tears dried hahaha!

Of course it wouldn’t be a tribe workout without burpees!

Complete for time:

30 Burpees *bar facing burpees

30 Deadlifts (225lbs/155lbs) m/f

30 Burpees *bar facing burpees

*bar facing burpees: complete your burpee facing the barbell, once back up to standing - complete the jump of the burpee over the bar - turn and face the barbell and complete your next burpee. 

Try to partition your deadlifts so that you are never hitting failure on the reps, to leave some room in the tank to keep going at a consistent pace in the workout. As for the burpees, pick a set pace and stay consistent with hammering them out until completed.  MOST Spartan penalties are 30 burpees for failed obstacles, and with some of our tribe members getting prepped for the fall Spartan Races we figured this was a perfect opportunity to work on that rep range of burpees with a physically exhausting movement in between!
